A stock of C4 type explosives and detonators were discovered in a raid in Jaffna.
The raid was carried out by the Police Special Task Force yesterday based on a tip-off received by the Jaffna Intelligence Unit at the Jaffna Army camp.
The stock of explosives and detonators were found concealed near a bus stop while Police suspect it may have been concealed in an attempt to transport the stock to a different location.
The stock of explosives and detonators were handed over to the Jaffna Police for further investigations.
