Suspect arrested at airport with illegal cigarettes

News

A suspect who attempted to smuggle in 10, 200 foreign made cigarettes into the country illegally was arrested by a group of officers from the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) last night.

The suspect is a 23-year-old resident of Wellampitiya. The PNB unit at the BIA is conducting investigations.
