Suspect arrested with 8kg of Kerala Ganja

A suspect has been taken into custody with over 8 kilograms of Kerala Ganja. The arrest was made last evening in Vadukkodai based on a tip-off. Police found 8.605kg of drugs on his possession.  

Police said the suspect had been transporting the drugs in two parcels which were carefully covered and placed inside a fertilizer bag.  

The 38-year-old suspect is a resident of Kaattupuram. He is due to be produced before the Mallakam Magistrate's Court today. Investigations are ongoing.
