Suspect arrested with heroin in Grandpass
A suspect has been arrested with 2.5 grams of heroin in Grandpass at around 2:45 pm yesterday (Apr 09).
The arrest was carried out by police officers attached to the Western Province Organised Crimes Preventive Division.
Police have identified the suspect as a 47-year old resident of Grandpass by the name of R.A. Sunil Shantha.
He will be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrates Court today.
