A person who attempted to bribe the OIC of the Horowpathana Police was further remanded until June 04 by the Colombo Chief Magistate's Court today (May 21).
The individual was arrested while giving a bribe of Rs 250,000 requesting the Police to refrain from raising objections to bail for a suspect who has been arrested on terrorism charges.
The suspect who has been remanded over terrorist charges has been identified as the uncle of the individual who attempted to bribe the OIC on May 05.
