A list 302 appointments to the post of Principals has been cancelled following a decision by the Public Services Commission (PSC), Chairman Dharmasena Dissanayaka told Times Online.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Education will have to re-commence the process of conducting interviews and prepare a new list of appointments to the said position.
Steps have been taken by the PSC to notify the Education Ministry on the cancellation of the list, Mr. Dissanayake said.
Previously, the PSC had halted the appointment of 302 individuals as Principals after disapproving the criteria under which the candidates were chosen.
