Ten suspects have been arrested during a gathering which was organised on Facebook at a pub in Tangalle last Saturday.
Tangalle Police who had acted upon a tip-off regarding the illegal gathering had seized 10.8 grams of heroin which was in the possession of the suspects.
The suspects have been identified as 23, 26, 31, 40, 21, 17, and 19-year olds and are residents of Tangalle, Ragama, Kekirawa, Eheliyagoda, Kadawatha, Navagamuwa, Mirigama, Matara, and Giriulla.
They were produced before the Tangalle Magistrates Court yesterday (Apr 07).
