Thai Pongal enhances several core values - Speaker
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya in his Thai Pongal message has said that several core values such as thanksgiving, teamwork and helping each other are enhanced through this festival.
He added that this festival has a cultural significance which dates back to the period of the Chola kings.
