Thai Pongal festival paves the way towards preservation of cultural values : President
President Maithripala Sirisena in his special Thai Pongal message highlighted the "strong bond between human beings and nature”.
In his message, the President also said that the Thai Pongal festival paves the way to protect and preserve the values of different religions, ethnicities and cultures.
