Thomas Shannon to arrive in Sri Lanka
US Counsellor of the State Department Thomas Shannon is to arrive in Sri Lanka today Dec14, local media reported.
While in Sri Lanka, Shannon will tour a USAID-funded livelihoods project in the Eastern Province and meet with civil society.
During his visit, Shannon will have discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mangala Samaraweera and senior government and parliamentary leaders.
