Thousands flock to Vanni SLAF exhibition

An exhibition and carnival held to mark the Sri Lanka Air Force's (SLAF) 66th anniversary has concluded in Vavuniya amid attendence by thousands of people from all communities. 

The exhibition, organzied at the Vavuniya SLAF Base, was a new experience to the people of the Vanni and was held from September 1 to 3. 

Some of the events seen during the exhibition included musical concerts, dog shows, demonstrations by SLAF personnel and air shows by SLAF aircraft.
