Three arrested over discovery of ammo and pistols in Kahagolla
Three persons have been arrested in connection with the stock of ammunition which was seized in Kahagolla this morning.
It is reported that 152 rounds of T-56 ammunition and eight cases of 9mm pistols were discovered at a residence belonging to these suspects.
The arrest was carried out during a search operation which was carried out in the Diyatalawa area. The suspects have been identified as a 52-year old father and his sons aged 27 and 26.
The search operation is still being carried out by the Diyatalawa Police.
