Three arrested over fatal shooting
Three suspects who allegedly involved in a shooting which left one person dead and three others injured in Ambalantota last month have been arrested.
Police said the incident had occurred on April 15 at Mamadala in Ambalantota. Three suspects allegedly linked to this shooting were taken into custody yesterday at Samadigama in Ambalantota by the Tangalle Crime Investigation Division.
The suspects are aged 26, 38 and 49 years and residents of Lunama. They are due to be produced before the Hambantota Magistrate's Court today.
