Three flyover bridges over Slave Island rail crossing

The cabinet has approved to erect three fly over bridges across railway lines in Slave Island to minimize heavy traffic congestion during peak hours. A one way traffic plan also has been designed to avoid traffic congestions.

Accordingly the Minister of Highways, Jhonston Fernando proposed to implement the project and call bids from contractors for constructing of the flyovers under the project.
