Three suspects including two Nigerian nationals were arrested with cocaine worth over Rs 500,000 in Mount Lavinia yesterday (Mar 03).
Mount Lavinia police said that the suspects were arrested while transporting the narcotic which weighed 32 grams in a three-wheeler.
Investigations revealed that the suspects had overstayed their visas which had expired in April last year.
A sum of Rs 162,700 which was in the possession of the suspects was also confiscated by the police.
The suspects which include the driver of the three-wheeler will be produced before the Mount Lavinia courts in due course.
