Three killed following accident in Nochchiyagama
Three persons have died due to an accident involving a three wheeler and a container truck in Nochchiyagama.
It is reported that the accident had occured when a speeding three wheeler had collided with the truck along the Puttalam-Trincomalee road.
A 48-year old man, a woman, and their 12-year old child who were travelling in the three wheeler fell victim to the mishap.
The driver of the container truck has been taken into police custody.
