Three killed in explosion at fireworks factory

Three people were killed due to an explosion and resultant fire at a fireworks factory in Kimbulapitiya today. All three victims have been identified as being employees of the factory. 

They were admitted to the Negombo Hospital suffering from severe burns, but died soon after admission.

The bodies are currently lying at the hospital's mortuary. Investigations are ongoing.
