Three Lankan ambassadors for Canada, Sweden, and France have presented their credentials to their resoective designations. Ahmed A. Jawad presented his Credentials as Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to Governor General David Johnston of Canada at a ceremony held at the Rideau Hall in Ottawa yesterday while Sri Lankan envoy to Sweden, Mrs. Renuka Damayanthie Rajapakse, presented the Letter of Credence to His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf, the King of Sweden at the Royal Palace in Stockholm last week. Meanwhile the Ambassador of Sri Lanka Tilak Ranaviraja presented his Letter of Credentials to the President of France François Hollande on September 8. The ceremonial event was held at the Elysée Presidential Palace in Paris.
