Three new Parliamentarians representing the United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) took their oaths before the Deputy Speaker this afternoon (17).
The new UPFA MPs are Shantha Bandara, Manoj Sirisena and D.B. Herath.
D.B. Herath was appointed to fill the seat left vacant by the death of UPFA Kurunegala District MP Salinda Dissanayaka while Manoj Sirisena filled the seat left vacant by the demise of Matara District MP Chandrasiri Gajadeera.
Shantha Bandara was sworn in as a National List MP; the post from which he resigned from earlier.
