Three persons who had been arrested for allegedy supplying explosives to the bombers involved in the Easter Sunday attacks have been remanded until August 19.
The remand order was issued by the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate's court today (Aug 5).
Submitting a progress report on the investigations into the suspects before court, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) stated that further inquiries were still underway.
The CID also told court that two of the remanded suspects, who are being questioned upon a 90-day detention order, have been identified as founding members of the banned National Thowheed Jamath group.
