With the onset of the monsoon season three provinces in the island will be on alert for dengue fever.
Three provinces have been put on alert amidst increasing case of Dengue with over 100 deaths and more than 90,000 cases reported so far this year, National Dengue Control Unit’s Director, Dr Anura Jayasekara told Timesonline.
Governors of the Western, Central and Northern Province have got together to initiate a dengue cleanup programme owing to the rising number of dengue patients.
