Three persons suspected to have defrauded Deputy Minister of Law and Order Nalin Bandara by promising to supply scrap iron in 2001 worth Rs 21 million were ordered to be present before court on January 11, next year.
The order was issued by the Colombo High Court judge A.R. Heiyanthuduwa yesterday.
The accused are Lakshman Bandara, S.Jayakumar and Chaila Upendra, sales representatives of a factory in Mirigama.
Mr. Bandara is said to have been deceived by a factory in Mirigama.
