Three suspects have been arrested by the Police over their involvement in a credit card racket reported to have taken place across the country.
Police arrested the suspects over charges of withdrawing money using stolen credit cards from Marawila, Mathugama, Kandy, Kuliyapitiya, Dambulla, Matara, and Galle.
A court case has been filed against the suspects, police said. At the time of the arrest Police seized a vehicle, two national identitiy cards (NICs) and 13 credit cards.
The suspects are due to be produced before the Dambulla Magistrates Court today (Feb 27).
