The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has expressed its deepest condolences to those who have lost their family members and loved ones affected due to the floods in Chennai.
The TNA has also sympathized with thousands of people who are displaced and who have lost their livelihoods as a result of this devastation.
“We also extend our appreciation to the Tamil Nadu Government and the other state and private sector institutions for their tireless efforts to provide relief for the affected people. We hope that this situation will end soon and the people will be back to the normalcy in their lives, TTNA parliamentary group leader and Leader of the Opposition R. Sampanthan said in a press release.
