The Tamil National Alliance says that they will vote in favour of the no-confidence motion against Mahinda Rajapaksa in Parliament.
Issuing a media release, the TNA said that the removal of Ranil Wickremesinghe from the position of Prime Minister was unconstitutional while also noting that the prorogation of Parliament was a breach of democratic values.
The TNA also said that it will take strict action against Minister Viyalendran who accepted a cabinet portfolio while remaining in the TNA.
