The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) is yet to decide on whom they should support at the upcoming presidential elections, TNA parliamentarian Charles Nirmalanthan said yesterday (Aug 14).
Addressing a news conference, the parliamentarian stated that his party would support the candidate whose policies would include resolving the issues faced by the Tamil community.
Nirmalanthan noted that the TNA would not put forward a presidential candidate. Accordingly, he said that the TNA would arrive at a final decision on this matter at their party meeting once all candidates are announced.
