Heavy traffic prevails in Colombo and suburbs this morning due to torrential rains. Several roads are reported to be flooded. The Colombo-Avissawella Road has been blocked due to floods at Puwakpitiya.
The Met Department says heavy rains between 100mm to 150mm are to be expected in some places today.
