Train catches fire due to a faulty engine wire

News

A train which was travelling towards Fort from Mahava caught fire at Budgamuwa.

However, no casualties were reported due to the fire which was doused within half an hour, General Manager of Railways, Dilan Fernando said.

The cause for the fire has been attributed to a faulty wire in one of the four engines in the train.
