The decision was passed when the case was taken up today (Dec 09) for hearing. The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) informed court today that it had obtained a nine-hour statement from the Swiss embassy officer.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate had instructed the CID to refer the staffer to a medical officer and call for a medical report.
