Twelve persons have been injured when the van they were travelling collided with a small lorry yesterday (13) in the Mullaitive Oddusuddan police division.
The accident has taken place in front of the Oddusuddan Sivan Kovil. The van has toppled several times before coming to a halt. Twelve passengers in the van were injured and admitted to Mullaitive hospital, police said.
Cause for the accident has not been identified yet. Oddusuddan police are conducting investigations.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has interdicted Colombo Fort Magistrate Kosala Senadheera.
