Two suspects were arrested yesterday (May 20) in connection with the Shangri-La hotel bombings on Easter Sunday last month.
The arrest was carried out in Kandy by officials attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
CID officers had seized two vehicle passes and room keys belonging to the Shangri-La hotel which were in the possession of the suspects.
Further, 28 passports were also nabbed from one of the suspects at the time of the arrest.
