Two dead in Wattala shooting
Two people have died following a shooting in Hekitta, Wattala today (Jan 13), police said.
According to the police, a group of people who were travelling in a car had fired gun shots at another car that was travelling on the same road.
Police said that two men who were in the car had succumbed to death spontaneously following the shooting while a woman who was also travelling in the car had escaped unhurt.
Wattala police are investigating further into the incident.
