A 73-year-old woman from Bandaragama and a 65-year-old man from Colombo 14 died from a COVID-triggered heart failure and COVID pneumonia respectively, the Director General of Health Services said.
The two deaths reported on Monday (14) increased the death toll from the virus to 154. A total of 685 persons were tested positive on Monday bringing the total number of positive cases from the second wave to 29,837.
