Two individuals died while two others sustained injuries following a train accident in Ragama at around 7:50 a.m in the morning.
According to reports, the train which was travelling from Kandy to Matara came to a halt after the Ragama station following the accident.
The accident has caused a delay in the trains that were scheduled to travel from Ragama.
It is reported that the two individuals injured are in a critical condition.
