Two persons have been hired as executioners as President Maithripala Sirisena continues to reiterate his call in order to implement the death penalty, Prisons Department sources said.
However, the Prisons Department has decided to conceal the identity of these persons for security reasons.
At present they are engaging in various duties at the Prisons Department.
