Two Somalians were arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport today (Jan 05) for violating emigration laws.
One Somalian was taken into custody while attempting to travel to Sweden using a fake passport. The other suspect was arrested for aiding and abetting the Somalian in this incident.
Reportedly, both suspects had attempted to travel to Sweden via New Delhi.
The suspects ages are 19 and 22. They will be produced before the Meegamuwa Magistrates Court in due course.

A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
