Two spill gates at Lakshapana reservoir opened due to heavy rains
The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has requested the people living downstream of the Kelani River to be vigilant over the rising water levels.
Two spill gates of the Lakshapana reservoir were opened yesterday due to heavy rains. The DMC yesterday advised those residing in the surrounding areas to be watchful of the water levels.
