Two suspects who aided in the robbery of a Rs 5 billion worth diamond and some gem stones worth Rs 2 billion from a house in Maharagama have been arrested by Police.
The arrest took place during a raid conducted by a group of officers from the Peliyagoda Crimes Investigation Division. The raid was conducted in the Mawella area in Peliyagoda.
According to the Police Media Spokeman's Office the two suspects were identified as residents of Ranala and Kaduwela areas.
Previously, another suspect was arrested on a previous occasion in relation to this case.
