The Peliyagoda Police Crime Unit have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of W.M.N.S. Jayasena, an Army soldier at the Ambepussa Base Camp last week.
The suspects have been identified as army soldiers. Police have also recovered a knife and the T56 weapon which went missing following the incident.
Police are continuing further investigations.

The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka has ordered the Election Commission to immediately proceed with the postponed Local Government Elections.
