Two suspects arrested with possession of illegal drugs, during a joint raid operation carried out by Navy and police at Batuwatta are in Negombo, Navy said.
Accordingly, thousand tablets of illegal drugs (Tramadol) which are believed to be used for intoxication, were arrested while being transferred in aforesaid region by a three-wheeler. The arrested persons and consignment of illegal drugs were handed over to the Ragama Police for further investigations.
