Two suspects arrested with weapons
Two suspects have been arrested from Ambalangoda along with a number of weapons. Police Media Unit said the suspects were arrested near the Godahena Community Centre in Ambalangoda yesterday (12) based on a tip-off.
Police say they found a firearm and three swords in the possession of the suspects.
The arrested suspects, aged 27 and 22 years, are residents of Ambalangoda.
They are due to be produced before the Balapitiya Magistrate's Court today.
