Two US warships will arrive in Sri Lanka for a defence exercise at Hambantota on April 18, Navy Spokesman Lieutenant Commander Isuru Suriyabandara said.
USS Suprance and USS Millinocket are the two warships which would arrive to conduct a defence training programme as a part of the Sri Lanka - US Defence Agreement.
The Defence Exercise will be conducted in both ground and deep sea areas, the spokesman said adding that the warships will remain until April 26.
