The UAE Embassy in Colombo organised a group wedding ceremony for young men and women, under the auspices Abdul Hameed Abdul Fattah Kazim Al Malla, UAE Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Mohammed Fawzi Abdul Hamid, Sri Lankan Minister of State for National Integration and Reconciliation, the Emirates News Agency reported.
The event was organised within the framework of the 2017 Year of Giving, and in line with the UAE's charitable and humanitarian approach to help underprivileged families around the world, the report claimed.
