Udaya Gammanpila released on bail

United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) MP Udaya Gammanpila, who had been in remand custody over a fraud case, was released on bail today by the Colombo Fort Magistrate. 

Gammanpila had been in remand custody since he was arrested by police on June 18 in connection with the case.
