The United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances has confirmed that it will visit Sri Lanka from November 9 to 12, foreign media reported. The Working Group made the announcement at the UN Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday. The Chair of the Working Group said that they were happy to announce the November visit to Sri Lanka. The group was earlier scheduled to visit Sri Lanka from August 3 to 12, 2015.
