All Parliamentarians elected under the ticket of the United National Front (UNF) Party have been advised by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to be present in the House as the Parliament is scheduled to vote on the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP)'s No Confidence Motion (NCM) this evening by 6.30pm.
The motion calling for a Vote of No Confidence against the Prime Minister, Cabinet and Government was presented by the JVP.
Meanwhile, the Joint Opposition (JO) which held a press briefing at the Parliament over proposed Amendments to the Monetary Law Act No 58 of 1949 is still undecided over voting on the Motion.
