Unity Govt. to continue; Cabinet reshuffle soon - Rajitha

The national unity government between the United National Party (UNP) and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) will continue, Co-Cabinet Spokesman Rajitha Senaratne stated a short while ago. 

Speaking at the Cabinet media briefing, Minister Senaratne further stated that there will also be a Cabinet reshuffle in the coming days. 

However, while Co-Cabinet Spokesmen Rajitha Senaratne and Gayantha Karunathilake were present at today's media briefing, their SLFP Cabinet colleague and Co-Cabinet Spokesman Dayasiri Jayasekara was not present. 

The SLFP had stated yesterday that it proposes to create an SLFP led government with Nimal Siripala De Silva as Prime Minister
