United National Party (UNP) parliamentarians have called on the party leadership to maintain strict discipline in the party.
This was in view of the upcoming parliamentary elections, a senior party member told the Times online.
The UNP parliamentary group has also discussed on entrusting Speaker Karu Jayasuriya with the duties of leading the party's general election campaign.
