Police had arrested a total of 118 suspects for violating the island-wide curfew by 6.30pm this evening.
Police Media Unit stated that the majority of those arrested had been taken into custody for loitering.
In addition, others were arrested for drinking liquor in a group at a playground, traveling in vehicles on the road, keeping a restaurant open during curfew, acting in a disorderly manner under the influence of liquor and engaging in trade.
Police will take legal action against those who have been arrested, the release added.
