Another army personnel who was injured in a collision with the Yaldevi train and an army truck yesterday (Jun 25) has succumbed to death this morning.
This brings the total number of deaths of military personnel following the accident to six.
Currently one other military personnel who sustained injuries is being treated at the Kilinochchi hospital.
The accident had occured when the Jaffna bound Yaldevi train from Colombo had collided with an army truck at Kilinochchi.
